Representative matters
- A leading bank, in High Court proceedings to enforce a decree of the East African Court of Justice against the Republic of South Sudan, including interim mareva injunction and security applications relating to a claim of US$51 million.
- A leading electrical power generating company, as part of the representing team in a challenge before the Public-Private Partnerships Petitions Committee to a bidder disqualification decision on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer geothermal power project.
- The National Irrigation Authority, in a high-value dispute before the Court of Appeal arising from FIDIC contracts for the Mwea Irrigation Development Project (contract value of approximately Kshs. 3.53 billion), concerning the enforcement of Dispute Board decisions and the interaction between contractual dispute resolution mechanisms, arbitration and court proceedings.
- The Republic of Kenya, as a member of the instructing team in Travizory Border Security SA v Republic of Kenya (ICSID Case No. ARB/25/54), an ongoing investor-State arbitration.
- The National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya, preparing written submissions in the Deputy President impeachment proceedings before the Supreme Court (Petition No. E032 of 2025).
Regional & cross-border experience
- Enforced a decree of the East African Court of Justice against the Republic of South Sudan.
